Kanye West is Suspended From Twitter, Again, for "Incitement to Violence"

From tweeting out a swastika to alleging that Kim Kardashian had an affair with Chris Paul, here's what happened with Kanye West Thursday night.

Ye went out with a bang on Twitter yesterday evening. On Thursday night (December 1), the Donda 2 artist was suspended by Twitter owner Elon Musk after posting what appeared to be a logo design with the likeness of a swastika inside the Star of David. The Chicago-raised artist, real name Kanye West, seemed to use the artwork to promote his 2024 presidential run.

On Friday morning (December 2), Musk said that Ye's tweet incited violence, violating the platform's rules.

“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk tweeted in a reply.

The Twitter suspension comes after Ye was un-banned from Twitter earlier this month after previously tweeting that he was about to go “death con 3 [sic] on Jewish people.” Ye's behavior got more unhinged last night when we suggested that his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, had an affair with Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul.

“Let’s break one last window before we get outa [sic] here,” Ye tweeted, with an image of Paul. “I caught this guy with Kim. Good night.”

Ye's tweets follow a controversial past two months for the rapper, which continued earlier this week when he visited radio show Infowars, hosted by right-wing commentator and Sandy Hooks conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. During the show, Ye empathized with Nazi Party leader and German dictator Adolf Hilter multiple times.

“I see good things about Hitler,” he told Jones. “I love everyone and Jewish people are not going to tell me: You can love us and you can love what we’re doing to you with the contracts, and you can love what we’re pushing with the pornography. But this guy [Hitler] that invented highways and invented the very microphone that I use as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good.”

Before the show moved into a commercial break, Ye said "I like Hilter," flustering Jones.
