John Legend and Lorde make waves with two of the many great performances to grace the stage at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards. John Legend performed a romantic medley including the smash ballad “All Of Me” and “You And I” (Nobody In The World) after being introduced by his wife and muse, Chrissy Teigen. A video clip of Legend explaining the inspiration for the second song preceded the dimly-lit performance, which featured him at the helm on piano. After an introduction from Nicki Minaj, Lorde hit the stage to deliver the first-ever televised performance of “Tennis Court” from her critically-acclaimed Pure Heroine LP.
