Budden continued to critique Electronica's debut album, as well as addressed his Twitter back and forth with the New Orleans rapper, on his podcast.

Following his Twittter back and forth with Jay Electronica, Joe Budden has continued to speak on Electronica and his disappointment with the rapper's recently-released albumm A Written Testimony.

Around the 38:30 mark on the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, co-host Rory discussed the initial tweet that led to the back and forth between Budden and Electronica: a Twitter user who wrote "Joe Budden hasn't dropped a classic in his life and he’s critiquing Jay Electronica and Hov?"

"I'm not steaming over this Jay Elec thing — Jay Elec could diss me for the next five weeks on a f**kin' Hov collab mixtape again and I'd cop," Budden said. "I don't think there's any seriousness in this...clearly Jay Elec felt some type of way about our critique on the last episode."

From there, Budden, Rory and Mal talk about how Elec had included them in an Instagram post about the album that preceded the series of tweets between Budden and Elec, before discussing if they felt Budden's criticism of Elec's album was unfair.

Around the 62:15 mark, Budden then addressed Electronica's tweets at him, particularly one where he told Budden "may Allah bless your career as a journalist."

"The Nicki Minaj journalist slight is tired. It's over now," Budden said. "If you are telling me that I'm a journalist you are telling me that you are tone deaf and have no idea what the f**k the climate is out here."

"Listen, if Jay Elec puts out another offering, I'm gonna listen to it," he said elsewhere during the podcast. "And I have no doubt that Jay Elec himself might learn from some of his own mistakes and put out a better project."

Jay Elec released his highly-anticipated debut album A Written Testimony on March 13.

Amid Budden and Elec's feud, an old video of the pair interacting with each other has since surfaced online.

The video, which was apparently taken at a Budden show by Angela Yee, shows Elec speaking highly of Budden.

"I always knew who Joe Budden was, but the first time I ever met him we were at Santos. He had good energy," Elec said about Budden. "But I f**ks with him as an MC because he ain't on no pretend shit. He's honest about his life...that's what he's giving you in his s**t, and I f**ks with him."
