No matter where you turn, Star Wars fever has infected the world down to its core. It's damn near inescapable, with the mile-long lines of greasy-haired, red-eyed stans camping-out in front of theaters across the globe (some for days on end now.) You may be surprised to know, but The Roots is just as excited as you are (and have probably already seen the film, but that's an entirely different matter) as evidenced by their all-star a cappella collision with The Force Awakens cast to knock a medley of Star Wars themes out into the far reaches of our galaxy.
Tonight however, the fellas decided to work out some fiery new bars aggregated from the absolutely hilarious #StarWarsRaps phenomenon that has been taking place on twitter for the last few days. The result:a masterfully-executed set of reworks that should give both the heads and the brains something smile at. Watch as Jimmy Fallon & The Roots throw Star Wars raps over "Big Poppa," "My Name Is," "Hotline Bling" and more on The Tonight Show below, guilt-free with no spoilers in sight.
