The Electric Lady Miss Janelle Monáe drops a synth-strutting rework of Robert Palmer's '88 smash "Simply Irresistible" for E's Red Carpet Live coverage. The android funkstress applied her high velocity vocals to an electrified "Weird Science"-esque synth treatment of Palmer's driven rocker--somehow more in line with the textures of the 80's than the original-- known best for its iconic mean-muggin lady ensemble visual.
