James Fauntleroy drops another sultry acoustic ballad with “CPR” off his String Theory project. Late Wednesday night the track popped up on the internets, adding yet another notch to a belt that appeared out of nowhere a little less than a month ago. Since then, we’ve been getting new pieces from the Grammy-winning songwriter on a weekly basis, sometimes in pairs. “CPR” is a not-so-corny love song, finding Fauntleroy waxing romantic over a gentle acoustic riff. As promised, all of these unconventional acoustic jawns have been compiled into his String Theory project, which can be heard for free via Soundcloud. Listen to James Fauntleroy’s latest stripped down cut “CPR” below.
