The Photograph hits theaters on February 14, 2020.

Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield are starring opposite of each other in the first trailer for the new romance movie The Photograph. The clip introduces viewers to Rae who plays Mae Morton and Michael Block (Stanfield) a journalist.

Throughout the trailer, Rae's fictional mother, Mae Morton who is an acclaimed photographer Christina Eames has passed suddenly. Following her death, Morton finds a secret black and white photograph that indefinitely hold secrets of her mother's past. After she discovers the box she meets Block who is penning a story about her mother's career. The timely connection and the spark between the two is set to unfold in the film.

The Photograph was written and directed by Stellie Meghie and also stars Insecure's Y'Lan Noel, Roxane Roxane's Chanté Adams in addition to Rob Morgan as main characters. The movie is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2020.
