Giorgio Moroder's Music Gets An Orchestral Rework In RBMA Mini-Doc

The mind of Giorgio Moroder is one that few (outside of the royal robot crew, of course) have had the opportunity to experience to any degree. So when RBMA decided to let us have a peek into The Heritage Orchestra's efforts to reinterpret the true king of disco's work for a 40-50 piece ensemble, well, we're all eyes and ears. The doc follows the orchestra's Chris Wheeler as he gathers the personnel to give Moroder's dance-floor masterpieces a proper symphonic embellishment, freeing these tracks of the studio chambers they were conceived in.

It's a righteous exposition of all the man's accomplished and how he persists in breakingthrough glass ceilings, appropriating the music world's latest toys to his own devices and even delving into his highly coveted DJ set (though it is quite a sight to see the 74 year old behind a mixer and laptop) Brace yourself, as your about to bear witness to the brainchildren of one of funk's most important contributors reimagined for the concert hall savvy. It should also be noted that even at his age, the man can throw heat down on the ones and twos. You can follow Wheeler and RBMA through the inner-workings of Moroder's dance machine mental below.
