William Bensussen, who is better known as the Gaslamp Killer, is suing two women who claim he raped them.

Bensussen filed a defamation lawsuit against a woman named Chelsea, her friend RaeAn, and Chelsea’s boyfriend for $5 million in damages. Last month, Chelsea wrote an emotional message in a tweet claiming that Bensussen drugged and raped her and her best friend:
i’ve been silently suffering over this for many years. the gaslamp killer drugged and raped my best friend and myself 4 years ago pic.twitter.com/yvJM5HEJay
Bensussen immediately denied the allegations. However, that didn’t stop the record label Brainfeeder and the L.A. event collective Low End Theory to end their relationship with the producer.
Pitchfork obtained the complaint the Gaslamp Killer filed. The producer claims he had consensual sex with the two women. He also says he has two witnesses who say they saw the women approach the producer for sex and then later leave “under their own power.”
