G Herbo Joey Badass Metro Boomin Lord Knows
We owe Chicago rap wunderkind G Herbo some serious thanks for bringing "Lord Knows" together. A dark half-twisted cut that sits at the tantalizing outer edge of your comfort zone, the track features Brooklyn favorite Joey Bada$$ contributing a verse and production from St. Louis's Metro Boomin. "Lord Knows" pillages over three and a half minute, taking what it pleases and offering no apologies. With the average age of all artists involved coming out to just over 20, it's quite possible you might end up gobsmacked. But just relax--these young guns know exactly what they're doing.
The cut premiered over at The Fader, and speaking with the magazine, G Herbo said "Me and Joey are on a whole other level of rap music for the young n**gas right now...We are both from different worlds almost but we connect together on an artist level.
