Additional names in the lawsuit include Lil Yachty, Kendall Jenner and Tyga.

The trustee handling the Fyre Festival bankruptcy has reportedly filed 14 lawsuits against management firms, major talent agencies, influencers and celebrities like Pusha T, Migos and more who promoted the event according to Billboard. 

Gregory Messer, the appointed trustee of the chapter seven bankruptcy for Fyre Media, the celebrity booking company which spearheaded the festival has filed the $14.4 million lawsuit. It is an attempt to get back the funds paid out by Fyre Media and its founder Billy McFarland. Messer is working alongside New York attorney Fred Stevens to recover money owed to creditors and investors. 

A few of the agencies being sued include IMG, CAA, International Creative Management, Paradigm, United Talent Agency and more. Funds have reportedly been traced back to Pusha T, Migos, Lil Yachty, Rae Sremmurd, Desiigner and Tyga via the agencies that represent them. At the moment, McFarland is serving a six-year prison sentence after pleading guilty for fraud last year.

Stevens also named Kendall Jenner and supermodel Emily Ratajkowski for their part in promoting the festival on social media. Billboard’s report sheds light on the fact that the pair were paid $275,000 (Jenner) and $300,000 (Ratajkowski) to promote Fyre Festival on Instagram. Additionally, Jenner is being sued for “intentionally [leading] certain members of the public and ticket purchasers to believe” Kanye West would appear at or headline the event.

“Significant amounts were recklessly spent in continuation of McFarland’s schemes.” wrote Stevens in the lawsuit filed against Fyre Media, according to Billboard. He also notes the “musical acts that never showed up,” in addition to “2.25 million to influencers that promoted the Festival on social media without indicating to their followers and the public that they were paid for promoting the Festival (including $275,000 to Kendall Jenner for a single social media post).”

The lawsuit also alleges McFarland spent $315,645 of investor funds on personal expenses. Ja Rule who was previously associated with Fyre Fest is no longer named in the lawsuit.
