Fresh Selects, home to Mndsgn, Low Leaf, SiR and our First Look Friday alum, Kadhja Bonet, are back with another signee you should know: the New Venusians.

This seven-piece band from Sydney, Australia are masters of that good natured R&B and soul. We're ecstatic to serve as the bridge to their sonic adventures by premiering their debut single, "Keep Running (...and Running)," which you can hear for yourself below.

New Venusians, which was formed by jazz guitarist Ben Panucci, are made up of the city's most talented, awesome, powerful touring and session musicians who have been known to back the likes of Sampa The Great, Josh Pyke and Chet Faker to name a few. "'Keep Running' was inspired by an intense anger," Ben Panucci said in an emailed statement. "The realization that the most effective way to deal with such a strong feeling is to transform it into something creative and positive [was impactful]."

By combining two tracks from their forthcoming self-titled debut album — audiophiles will be happy to learn more about the new Fresh Select signees when it drops this winter. "The song is definitely the angriest on the album, with more of an extroverted character, compared to some of the lush, introspective tunes that make up a large chunk of the LP." With rotating vocals between singers Meklit Kibret and Christian Hemara, "Keep Running (...and Running) is a high intensity track that is worth pressing play on.

Listen to the song below or you can hear it on Spotify or Soundcloud at your leisure. Enjoy!
