Two weeks have passed since the release of the Frank Ocean‘s multilayered (and frankly, magnificent) new album, Blonde. And though the spelling may be disputed (along with which album cover is the album cover,) one thing that nobody’s arguing over is how seemingly difficult the album has been to get ahold of. Not like that stopped you, but the single greatest critique levied against this album has been its Apple Music exclusivity, though it didn’t stop the album from debuting at number 1 on Billboards Hot 200 chart.
Today, dear friends, Ocean’s flood continues with the release of Blonde on Spotify, adding yet another way to enjoy the album you’ve probably already heard, but didn’t want to pay for. No word on whether there will be a wider digital release on other streaming platforms, but for now you can at least dive in without the brand allegiance. Stream Frank Ocean’s new album in full down below and hold tight to see if he resurfaces against anytime soon. We’re crossing our fingers for his Boys Don’t Cry magazine to see an actual non-pop-up release as well. Revisit Kanye and Tyler‘s respective poems for a taste.
