Frank Ocean Reacts To Viola Davis’ Historic Best Supporting Actress Oscar Win

Frank Ocean infamously ignored the Grammys this year. That doesn’t mean that the elusive singer doesn’t care about award show season.

Frank was clearly watching the Oscars last night. Because, after Viola Davis won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her standout performance in Fences, the singer posted a succinct but uplifting message on his Tumblr:  “YESSS VIOLA”  was all he wrote. We suspect he was responding to Viola’s epic acceptance speech. (If you haven’t seen that already stop reading and watch now.)

After last night’s big win, Viola has taken home a Tony, Emmy, and Oscar. She is just a Grammy away from joining the exclusive EGOT club. Maybe Frank can help her with that.
