Footage Surfaces of Freddie Gibbs Being Attacked In Buffalo, New York

On Monday, footage taken at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Buffalo shows a group assaulting Freddie Gibbs while in town for his Space Rabbit Tour.

Tension followed Freddie Gibbs over the weekend while he made a stop in Buffalo during his Space Rabbit Tour. While the rapper was at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, a bystander outside the restaurant recorded what appears to be Gibbs being assaulted by a group of people. During the clip, Gibbs is thrown to the ground before getting up and continuing to fight, while it appears that items were also thrown during the altercation.

TMZ published footage of the incident, which has also gone viral on social media.

Rumors that Gibbs' rabbit chain was stolen were debunked when Gibbs posted a video of his chain, saying, "Produce the stolen jewelry that you say that you got, nigga."

During his show at Town Hall on Sunday night, Gibbs performed wearing a ski mask where his eyes were visibly swollen. Also on the Space Rabbit Tour are openers MIKE, redveil and Zack Fox.

Considering this happened in Buffalo there are whispers that this is related to tension with Benny The Butcher.

The beef between Gibbs and Benny The Butcher has been ongoing, as the one-time collaborators got into a war of words in March. Benny stopped by Spotify podcast Most Necessary Livewhen he claimed that a collaboration between him and Gibbs "came and went."

After the episode dropped, Gibbs went to Instagram to speak on Benny's comment.

"Nigga said working with Freddie Gibbs came and went," he said. "I know some other shit that came and went too, nigga. Just keep my name out y'all mouth when y'all talking to people or doing interviews and shit. Just say, 'Next question. I don't want to talk about that nigga, man.' Just say, 'Next muthafuckin' question.' For real."

Benny later responded on Twitter.

In a separate video, Gibbs continued to troll Benny prior to the release of his "Ice Cream" collaboration with Rick Ross.

“New shit coming this week," Gibbs said. "I got to give these niggas some bars. They gotta have it — they want some!”

Gibbs is still headlining the Space Rabbit Tour, which concludes June 3rd in Vancouver.
