Fatima - "Do Better" (prod. by Floating Points)
Fatima unleashes "Do Better," the opening track from her upcoming full-length debut Yellow Memories. Floating Points calls on the cavalry for this satiny ethio-pop tinged rocker, as his 16 piece ensemble throws regal horn arrangements and a live shuffling break under the Swedish soulstress' powerful vocal treatments. Yellow Memories follows up collaborations with Dam-Funk and SA-RA's Shafiq Husayn, and if "Do Better" is any clue as to what to expect, its time to get excited. Fatima's full length debut drops May 12th via Eglo Records, so be sure to keep it locked as we'll have plenty more on the Swedish wonder soon.
