Halloween has passed, but that didn't stop Elzhi from making a horror flick for one of his songs this week.

"She Sucks," featuring Chris Dave & The Drumhedz, always seemed like the perfect choice for a music video as long as it could be pulled off. In the song, Elzhi unwittingly gets his neck bitten by a vampire during a late-night tryst. After he wakes up from being buried alive, Elzhi stalks his hometown of Detroit to quench his own newfound bloodlust. The recently-released visual brings Elzhi's lyrics to life in a vintage-styled vampire film.

The new video is the latest from Elzhi's Kickstarter-funded album Lead Poison, his first since the Nas-inspired Elmatic from 2011. He released the new record in March, year shortly after backers threatened a lawsuit for not receiving the record in a timely fashion since successfully funding it in Nov. 2013. Elzhi revealed that depression was a major cause for the delay, and the album carries that theme, chronicling his depression and financial issues before discovering music as an outlet to deal with his struggles. The album is available now on iTunes and other retailers.
