Dwayne Johnson To Receive His Own Star On The Hollywood Walk of Fame
The Rock has been one of the biggest actors in Hollywood, and now, he will be honored for his work with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
It’s no secret that Dwayne Johnson has become an international success story. A leading man who is able to do comedy, action, drama and armed with a superstar appeal and charisma — The Rock is building up to have another stellar year in 2018. With top billing roles in Jumanji, Rampage and we’re sure a few other big blockbuster roles, Tinsel Town is going to honor his contribution to the Arts by giving him his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony, which is slated to take place next week on Dec. 13, will be a lead-in of sorts to his newest film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which is out Dec. 20.
“Not only does Dwayne have a great personality and talent, but he also does a great amount of philanthropic work which is part of the criteria for earning an immortal spot on the Walk of Fame,” Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies said. “We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans.”
In addition to Jumanji and Rampage, Johnson will also star in the upcoming Disney film, Jungle Cruise, as well as the action-adventure pic, Skyscraper.
