Mixtape Mondays: DJ Soul x Fila & TMNT

Getting older and seeing the things you used to love as a kid coming back as throwbacks is a bit of a trip.  But I would be lying if I said that I don’t mind the influx of 80’s and 90’s nostalgia that’s been brewing over the last few years.  Take DJ Soul‘s latest mix, #FILA x TMNT, for example.  Inspired by a collaboration between the shoe brand and the crime fighting, sewer-dwelling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, DJ Soul has crafted a mix that shows just how ubiquitous the two iconic brands were in pop culture back in the day.

Please be aware that this mix does indeed contain Vanilla Ice’s infamous “Ninja Rap.”  You’ve been warned.
