After dropping a massive Michael Jackson tribute set last Friday, the Tribe Called Quest alum seems to have some plans for his next episode that should pique the interests of you true-schoolers, potentially having recruited legends DJ Premier & Pete Rock for an epic showdown on the wheels of steel. That's right, PR and Preemo, two of the best to ever do it, may be reprising their storied DJ battles on this week's installment of Abstract Radio, with Q-Tip posting the above flier via Instagram yesterday. There's still no telling whether it will be a live and direct sonic sparring match or if we'll simply be treated to a recording of one of their sets from 2013 or if it's merely Tip's allusion to a tribute set to the pair of production powerhouses. But none of that should deter, as whatever your boy's got in store for us should prove to be "vivrant." Q-Tip's Abstract Radio airs at 10pm Friday night, which should provide you with ample time to catch up on his last few weeks of programming.
