Dam-Funk Announces Star-Studded 'Invite The Light' LP w/ Boogie-Blessed Cut "We Continue"

After just hitting us with the four-track stunner a few weeks back, it appears that Dam-Funk is prepping a new, full-length release for the late summer. The modern-funk general just dropped a blazing new boogie-blessed joint in "We Continue," once again capturing the sequins-stitched nostalgia of early-80s synthesizer funk, while not cementing himself to the reverie. It's a mid-tempo, synth-heavy specimen that'll have you two-stepping the day away if you don't happen to be cruising down the Pacific Coast at sunset, which would also make for an all-too-proper venue for this sunny new-aged soul stuff. Dam-Funk's new LP Invite The Light is slated for release September 2nd via Stones Throw Records with a massive list of guest spots, including Q Tip, Snoop Dogg, Junie Morrison (of the legendary midwestern funk squad The Ohio Players,) Ariel Pinkand more. Put your ears to the lead-off single "We Continue" and peep his forthcoming tour dates down below.
