Premiere: Cool Company Delivers The Funky Goodness With "Ride Or Die"

There is so much good music in Brooklyn that if you’re not living here, it really can be a shame if you’re a true audiophile. Thankfully, this is not a problem for Bushwick-based hip-hop/R&B duo, Cool Company, as their music has broken out of Kings County and into the airwaves across America. A passionate group whose influences range from OutKast to Stevie Wonder, Cool Company have built a reputation for being tight performers armed with rhythmic grooves and an expressive voice.

Alongside their eight-piece band, Cool Company, led by Cool Yan (vocals) and Fat Matt (production) have flipped Gotham City on its head with tracks like “Faded” and “Call You Back,” which have hundreds of thousands of streams on services like Spotify and Soundcloud. Today, it is our pleasure to premiere another effort from their full-length project, Slice of Paradise, in the form of “Ride Or Die”. Their versatile and infectious sound matches their equally awesome quality as a group and as a budding sonic superpower.

Without further ado, we encourage you to press play and listen to this East Coast wunderkind, as you can hear “Ride Or Die” for yourselves below!
