Watch As Common + Chinaka Hodge Discuss Artistry At ArtChangeUs National Conversations

Washington, D.C. and the Kennedy Center will be lit with inspiration as poet, educator and cultural organizer Chinaka Hodge links up with award-winning MC and activist, Common, for the ArtChangeUS Kennedy National Conversations event.

Jumping off Tuesday, March 21, these two influential figures will discuss the role of the artist, how the artist is transforming the times and how cultural movements propel social movements. Presented in partnership with Okayplayer and the Kennedy Center, interested parties can watch this interactive conversation exclusively on Okayplayer.com.

With Common prepping to perform choice cuts from his latest Black America Again in our other exclusive event tomorrow (Mar. 22) — this is an opportune moment to see artists and change-makers discuss the future of America and the Arts. Before he hits the stage tomorrow with Ms. Hodge, please don't hesitate to send in your own questions using the hashtag: #KCxCommon.

This performance is a part of a series of events that will take place between the Kennedy Center and Okayplayer on March 21st and 22nd. Check out the full schedule of events below:
