Not sure if Colin Kaepernick was shook after his method of protest increased hostilities around the country or if he’s just tired of being made out to be a scapegoat — but the NFL quarterback is rumored to be ending his stance against the National Anthem when the next season starts.

According to ESPN, the free agent from the San Francisco 49ers believes that the amount of national discussion on social inequality — as well as support from other athletes in the NBA, the NFL, women’s soccer and college and high school players — affirmed the insanely needed message that he was trying to deliver straight to America.

Sources also told the sports network juggernaut Thursday that Kaepernick, who hasn’t made his decision public yet, “no longer wants his method of protest to detract from the positive change he believes has been created.”

What do you think, Okayplayers? Should Colin continue his stance for equality or is he right to put an end to it? Speak on it in the comments below.
