Chris Rock Says That People Can "Eventually" Watch Him Address The Slap "on Netflix"

On Thursday, Chris Rock performed stand-up at a show in London and teased 'eventually' addressing being slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars.

Chris Rock isn't speaking on being slapped by Will Smith until he gets paid. On Thursday, the comedian performed at Royal Albert Hall in London, when he briefly addressed the 94th Academy Awards incident.

“I’m OK, if anybody was wondering. I got most of my hearing back,” he joked, with the crowd anticipating more about the incident. “People expect me to talk about the bullshit, I’m not going to talk about it right now, I’ll get to it eventually, on Netflix,” he said.

In late March, Rock first referenced the Oscars while performing in Boston during his Ego Death World Tour.

“How was your weekend?” Rock began. “I don’t have a bunch of shit about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point I’ll talk about that shit. And it will be serious and funny.”

In the past month, Rock has made occasion cracks towards Smith, specifically after Dave Chappelle was rushed by an attendee at the Hollywood Bowl during Netflix Is A Joke Festival. It was at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles when Rock and Chappelle joked at-length about recently being assaulted, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“At least you got smacked by someone of repute!” Chappelle joked. “I got smacked by a homeless guy with leaves in his hair.”

“I got smacked by the softest nigga that ever rapped," Rock responded.
