Chance The Rapper, Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment Take Us Into A Day In The Life w/ The 'Sox Day' Tour Doc

Chance The Rapper and his exquisite ensemble of musicians The Social Experimenthave shared a behind the-scenes look at their extensive college tour this summer in the short, but sweet tour documentary Sox Day. It begins (as any day on the planet should) with a gut-busting listening of Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel," complete with moon-walking and crotch-grabbing attempts. The piece (directed and filmed by Austin Vesely) takes off from there counting down hour-by-hour to the moment their electrifying stage show hits, making sure to shine some much needed light on the efforts of all of the auxiliary hands-on-deck (ie tour managers, stand-ins on the musical roster and the like.) While there isn't much footage from the actual live show, the 11-minute chronicle does pack in all of the tour-bus antics and backstage footage you can bear, revealing exactly how social this group of talented musicians, performers and techs known as The Social Experiment really are. The group's horn-man Donnie Trumpet has a new album on the way that will feature the whole gang (yes, even the rapper they call Chance.) Tag along on a day in the life of Chance The Rapper & Social Experiment. Watch the Sox Day tour documentary below.
