Brady Watt & Melanie Fiona Are A "Natural" Fit On This Infectious New Cut

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Brady Watt recruits Toronto-bred soulstress Melanie Fiona for the soulmatic collaboration "Natural" off Watt's forthcoming LIFETRONICS LP. The ever-prolific bass gawd helms a sonic specimen of high order, lush with swinging gospel guitar licks and a pulsing low-end over a deep pocket, all tied to together by Fiona's soaring vocal treatment (even spitting a bar or two) and a punctuating horn arrangement that cuts straight to the bone.

It's the type of feel-good r&b that infects in all of the right ways and is wholly indicative of what we can expect from his curatorial debut on the LIFETRONICS LP when it hits stores February 12th, which will also provide the much earned shine of someone who's helped sculpt the sounds of so many of your favorite artists. The credits include new projects with DJ Premier, Joey Bada$$ (re: "No.99") Denzel Curry and a laundry list of others. If you need anymore ear-candy, peep his all-too-tuff collaboration with Talib Kweliand NIKO IS  on "Thunderman" and brace yourself for what will surely be a proper intro when the album drops. Put your ears to the luscious r&b styles of Brady Watt and Melanie Fiona on their new joint "Natural" below.
