Watch Run The Jewels & Big Grams Perform “Born To Shine” Live And Direct

This past weekend, Run The Jewels brought their explosive live show to San Francisco’s Treasure Island Music Festivalsparing no ear or eye from the duo’s high-voltage stage antics. But even with Killer Mike and EL-P’s diamond-strong resume of stage-slaying, Frisco probably wasn’t prepared for the terrible twosome’s guests for the evening; none other than Big Grams (BKA Big Boi & Phantogram‘s own genre-smashing supergroup,) who joined Mike and EL for a live and direct rendition of their collaborative heat-seeker “Born To Shine,” prominently featured on the Big Grams EP. The close-up also provided a bit of a reconnection for Killer Mike and Big Boi, who share a Grammy for Outkast‘s bounce-worthy single “The Whole World.”

So what do you get when two super-powered supergroups collide onstage? Well, I don’t really know. But I imagine it looks a little something like this:
