The ad makes the suggestion that Obama is endorsing Bernie Sanders.

Bernie Sanders has released a new ad suggesting that Barack Obama endorses him, following Super Tuesday, which found him getting a big win in California but losing the southern Black vote to Joe Biden.

The 30-second ad finds Obama praising Sanders for his authenticity and passion, and for serving on the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee where he "got bills done."

"I think people are ready for a call to action," Obama said in the ad. "They want honest leadership who cares about them. They want somebody who's going to fight for them. And they will find it in Bernie."

In a report from the Independent, the Obama ad is one of three new advertisements, with the other two targeting Biden on cuts to Social Security and his stance on trade. The ads are expected to be released next week in states including: Arizona, Indiana, Florida, Illinois, Missisippi, Missouri, Ohio and Washington.

On Super Tuesday, Sanders won California's presidential primary election, which is considered a big win because of the amount of delegates it has (over 400). However, Sanders did lose the southern Black vote to Biden. According to NPR, Biden won Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama "largely on the back of his support among Black voters."

"In Alabama and Virginia, Biden had the support of about 7 in 10 Black voters," the news organization reported. "In Tennessee and North Carolina, Biden had the support of more than half of black voters."
