I suppose we've long known of the affinity that A$AP Rocky & Tyler The Creator share for one another. They've toured the world together and embodied the west-meets-east harmony that we'd hoped for out of earlier generations in hip-hop. But while the duo of left-leaners have certainly proved their kinship over the years, a true, blue collaboration between the two has yet to grace the internets.
Today is not that day, folks, but something vaguely reminiscent of a collaboration did, in fact, take place at one of Rocky's recent tour stops in San Francisco, where the fashion-minded Harlemite busted a fiery (and kinda silly) freestyle over the Tyler's game-changing single "Yonkers," shouting out the Bay and Lil B, who was also in attendance. Guess we'll have to hold on just a bit longer for that all-too-fitting booth connection, but at least with this, we know Rocky's ready. Watch A$AP Rocky bust loose over "Yonkers" in the clip below.
