Anthony Hamilton Is A Hostage Of Heartbreak In The “Love Is An Angry Thing” Video

Though Anthony Hamilton‘s new album What I’m Feelin’ may be best remembered for the viral covers that have popped up from the supporting tour, the North Carolinian soul star is out here proving he’s not all internet charm (come on now, put some respeck the man’s name.)

But now that the tour is on its last leg, it seems only right that we revisit the actual album and all of the soul-soaked goodness that came along with it. Today Hamilton has released a video for the standout ballad “Love Is An Angry Thing” to help refresh, finding himself as a hostage of heartbreak in this somber new visual, taking the literal approach as he squalls over his spoiled romance from behind bars. Watch the new video down below, pick up your copy of Anthony Hamilton’s What I’m Feelin’ on iTunes today and if you happen to be at the Indiana State Fairgrounds this week, catch him and The Hamiltones live and direct on August 18th as a proper compliment to your funnel cake and corndogs.

And yes, you can still jump back to hear and see all of those brilliant gospel-touched covers.
