For months now Alicia Keys has led us to believe that something in the way of a new album would be arriving by year's end, releasing pop-tinged ballads like "In Common" and "Hallelujah," both of which were premiered during her Saturday Night Live performance roughly six months back. Then she went ahead officially announced that her sixth studio album Here would arrive on November 4th with the release of the A$AP Rocky-assisted track "Blended Family (What You Do For Love),"

And while we'll have to wait another week for the full dose, today Keys has offered another taste of what's to come with the release of "Holy War," underscoring societal inconsistencies in a powerful acoustically-driven ballad aimed at the heart, and like so many of 2016's musical offerings, is poised to heal it.
