Tekashi 6ix9ine Sentencing Date Officially Set For December 18
Judge Paul Engelmayer agreed to move the date from January, the government's recommended sentence will be filed beforehand.
Tekashi 6ix9ine will know his official fate in a matter of months. After a request from the rapper's legal team, the sentencing date was moved up from January 24, 2020 to December 18.

Over the last month, 6ix9ine testified against former associates Anthony "Harv" Ellison, Aljermiah "Nuke" Mack, and former manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan. In September, Jordan was sentenced to 15 years in prison on one count of firearm possession during a crime and one count of firearm discharge during a crime. Ellison and Mack will be sentenced in February 2020.

Tekashi's racketeering charges carry a minimum of 47 years in prison, but could possibly receive a much lighter sentence due to his cooperation with investigators. His legal team is expected to file a 5K1 letter for the judge to consider a more lenient sentence.
