Check Out Zack de la Rocha's Remix of OutKast "Bombs Over Baghdad"

The Rage Against the Machine frontman remixed the classic OutKast track from Stankonia.

Three weeks ago, Sony Music announced the forthcoming release of an expanded vinyl edition of the award-winning Outkast album Stankonia. In honor of the album's 20th anniversary, the album's singles will be released along with a bundle of rare remixes. On Monday, the group shared Zack de la Rocha's remix of the hit single "Bombs Over Baghdad." The track, recorded in Atlanta's Southern Tracks Recording studio in 2000, was originally released only to radio. Twenty years later, get your hands on a copy for the album's anniversary.

"Zack added an extra layer of grunge to a masterpiece," Big Boi said in a statement to Rolling Stone. "I'm a fan of the Rage sound," Andre 3000 added. "So it was an honor to have them involved in a remix." Stream the remix below.

The album's other singles, "So Fresh, So Clean," and "Ms. Jackson" will also have remixes released via digital bundles, in addition to Goodie Mob's "Soul Sunday," which originally appeared on the Any Given Sunday soundtrack. Vinyl Me, Please is offering the album on vinyl for its October Record of the Month. The two-LP set will be pressed on "black and white galaxy" vinyl.

"Bombs Over Baghdad" has been certified Platinum by the RIAA, selling over a million copies since its release. The song experienced a resurgence in popularity after the United States' invasion of Iraq in 2003. Both members of OutKast would clarify that they didn't support the war, as many believed.
