The celebrated trio of Allysious Massaquoi, Graham ‘G’ Hastings and Kayus Bankole, better known as Young Fathers, announced a new album and single to hear.

Young Fathers, the popular trio of artists who tilted the game on its ear with their Mercury Prize-winning album, White Men Are Black Men Too, have returned to stake their claim with a new album and single. Titled Cocoa Sugar, Alloysious Massaquoi, Graham ‘G’ Hastings and Kayus Bankole announce the second offering from their 12-track project in the form of “In My View”.

Written and recorded throughout 2017 in the band’s basement studio and HQ, “In My View” finds the guys offering an exhilarating look into their mindscape and what’s to come when Cocoa Sugar drops March 9 via Ninja Tune. Arguably their most confident, crystal clear and complete statement to date, “In My Mind” has a visual component, which is directed by Jack Whiteley, and should be watched immediately without any hesitation.

For those who are yearning to have a physical copy of Young Fathers’ latest and greatest, Cocoa Sugar will be available on CD, LP, limited LP and all digital services on March 9. Cover photography comes courtesy of Julia Noni with creative direction from Tom Hingston. You can pre-order the album today here. Anyone out in the UK and EU, circle March and April 2018 on your calendar as a chance to see Young Father perform live, which includes their biggest headline show to-date at London’s Roundhouse venue on March 21.

Tickets for all dates are on sale now, with full details available via Young Fathers’ website.
