6ix9ine plans on still having a rap career.

Last week, Tekashi 6ix9ine spent three days testifying against his old crew, Nine Trey Bloods. (He also mentioned celebrities that might have been affiliated with the gang.)

Considering the threat snitching on the bloods might bring, it was assumed that 6ix9ine would enter a witness protection program. However, he might have other things in mind.

Apparently, 6ix9ine, despite being labeled a snitch, still wants to have a career in music after this. And part of any career in music is visibility. According to TMZ, Tekashi plans to reject the witness protection program that will be offered to him after he does his (shortened) bid.

According to TMZ, 6ix9ine knows the threat and plans to hire 24/7 security. (Something he was already doing before he got locked up.) To afford that he would need the music thing to kick off again.

During his testimony, Tekashi testified that he can be home by next year. 6ix9ine was facing a minimum sentence of 47 years before cutting a deal with prosecutors.
