Frank Ocean, Travis Scott to Headline Coachella 2020

Frank Ocean will headline Coachella for the first time.

Coachella has announced its lineup for its 2020 festival. Headling the festival, which is considered to be the largest in the United Staes, is Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean, who hasn’t performed since 2017, when he performed at the Flow Festival in Helsinki, Finland.

Other notable acts on the lineup include DaBaby, Lil Uzi Vert, Run the Jewels, FKA twigs, Megan Thee Stallion, Summer Walker, Noname, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, City Girls, Lil Nas X, 21 Savage, BROCKHAMPTON, Big Sean, Denzel Curry, J.I.D, and more. Like previous years, Coachella 2020 will take place across two weekends: April 10-12 and 17-19. Weekend one is already sold out. You will be able to buy passes for weekend two starting on Monday, January 6th.

The last time Frank Ocean toured he was doing it in support of his Blonde album, which he dropped in 2016. Frank hasn’t put out a new album since. However, over the last couple of years he has dropped off a number of excellent loosies, including “Biking (Solo),” “Moon River,” DHL,” and more. The fact that he is doing Coachella may hint to a new album in 2020.

Last year’s Coachella was headlined by Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, and Childish Gambino, Kanye West also brought his Sunday Service choir to the festival on Easter Sunday.
