T-Pain’s auto-tune-less live performance on NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’ concert series last year, dropped a lot of jaws. Who knew dude could actually hold a note like that. Well T-Pain makes his return to NPR’s Washington D.C. studios to once again show his vocal talents need minimal assistance. Celebrating the 10 year anniversary of his debut studio album, Rappa Ternt Sanga, T-Pain runs through some old hits, a new track “Officially Yours” (around the 3:30 mark), and a gripping cover of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come” (13:25). Watch it all, below. Video directed by Mito Habe-Evans and Frannie Kelley. Look for a new album from T-Pain on the way, Stoicville: The Phoenix.
