Kanye‘s Sunday Service is adding a stop in his hometown of Chicago this morning. Announced yesterday, the performance is free to the public, but requires a ticket, according to iHeart Radio. You can grab a stub on Ticketmaster today ahead of the 9am CST curtain call.
The Chicago installment follows weeks on end of hopping between cities. Last week, the expansive gospel choir and band performed in Watts, CA, which was a follow-up to the prior week’s set in Dayton, OH for Dave Chappelle’s benefit for the victims and families of a mass shooting that claimed 10 lives and injured dozens more. Like Chappelle’s benefit appearance, today’s performance will be live-streamed via SundayService.com for those unable to attend.
Last week, Kim Kardashian teased a tracklist for a new Kanye album, Jesus is King, which scraps the former Yandhi title for something more fitting of his return to gospel sources. It’s expected to arrive on September 27th. Tune in to the live stream of Kanye’s homecoming performance of Sunday Service below. Hold tight for his next transmission.
