Little Dragon is the latest guest on NPR’s recalibrated Tiny Desk Concert series.
Tucked into their home studio, the group ran through a number of cuts from their latest album, New Me, Same Us, including “Rush,” “Where You Belong,” and “Rain.” The band also performed “Forever,” off their self-titled debut album from 2007. The performance arrives as a placeholder for the group, who, sans pandemic, would have been touring the states in support of the new project.
Since global lockdown protocols went into place, NPR’s flagship performance series has hosted intimate at-home shows with Black Thought, Lianne La Havas, Jeru The Damaja, Nick Hakim, and more. And seeing as how we’ll all be in iso mode until further notice, you can expect plenty more of these in the weeks and months ahead.
Watch Little Dragon perform a soothing five-song set in their Tiny Desk debut up top. Hold tight for their next transmission.
