A heart-warming onstage moment with Hov and a nine-year-old fan in the crowd
As Jay-Z‘s 4:44 tour rolls onward, the highlights keep on coming. At a recent stop in Cleveland, OH, Hov took a moment to empower a young fan in the front row.
After asking the girl her age (nine years old,) the Roc-a-fella founder noted that “At this very moment, America is way more sexist than they are racist,” ensuring her that “you got the potential to be the next president of the United States.” The in-between moments of the 4:44 tour have been filled with outspoken stances from Hov, making sure to cape for Meek Mill and social justice initiatives across the board, including Colin Kaepernick’s protest and the NFL’s ongoing infighting over how and when a player should be allowed to voice their descent.
You can watch a clip of Jay-Z addressing the nine-year-old fan in the crowd above. The tour in support of 4:44 heads north this evening, hitting Montreal’s Bell Centre as is its next stop. Scroll on for the remaining dates.
