FKA twigs’ “home with you” Video Will Give You Serious ‘Midsommar’ Vibes

FKA twigs has released the latest single from her upcoming album, MAGDALENE. The single, called “home with you,” also came with a video, which features the singer heading to escape in the suburbs after a rough night out with her friends.

In typical FKA twigs fashion, the video is creepy and features a number of eerie shots. (The shots when she goes to the burbs are reminiscent of scenes in Ari Aster’s chilling Midsommar movie. 

Speaking about the video with Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Beats 1 show, she said:

 “home with you” is a record that I’ve written from the heart and it talks about really just me going home to the suburbs where I’m from in Gloucestershire and just when in doubt I just follow my gut and try to be around nature, go back to the Cotswolds, and get in touch with my family.

With the release of her latest single FKA twigs also provided an update on her album. MAGDALENE, which was supposed to be released on October 25th, but will now drop on November 8th.
