Earl Sweatshirt Takes The Stage in a New Video for “Loose Change” with Alchemist

Alchemist drops the final video from his recent project, This Thing of Ours.

For three weeks and running, Alchemist has treated fans to a new cinematic take on songs from his recently-released This Thing of Ours EP. And today, the producer completes the set with the release of a new visual for “Loose Change,” starring Earl Sweatshirt.

The Lonewolf-directed clip opens with Earl taking a smoke break in front of a theater with his name on the marquee. As he steps through the doors of the palatial picture house, velvet curtains and vintage variety show graphics flood the screen, ushering Earl to the stage for a performance that’s classy, laidback and hazed-out, all at once. When the video comes to a close, the camera pans wide to reveal Earl had been performing for a room full of onlooking mannequins and the track’s producer.

“Loose Change” is the fourth and final track from This Thing of Ours to receive a visual treatment. The project was released on April 30th via Alc Records, featuring additional contributions from Navy Blue, Pink Siifu, Boldy James, and Sideshow. As is usually the case with an Alchemist drop, This Thing of Ours arrived with a batch of dedicated (and limited edition) merch, including bucket hats, button-down shirts, bandanas, cassettes, and five different vinyl packages, most (if not all) of which have by now soldout. If you missed your shot on copping the vinyl directly from the producer, copies should begin surfacing at a premium via Discogs shortly.
