Is there something to this “feud” or nah?
On Monday, July 31st, the UK’s Channel 4 finally released their new documentary, Public Enemies: Jay-Z vs. Kanye.
Teased in clips and trailers throughout the last few weeks, the “in-depth” documentary attempts to pull on the threads of an apparent feud between the two Def Jam stars, which came to a head on Hov’s newly released album, 4:44, where it is speculated that the Bed Stuy rapper took aim at his one time protege on the album’s opener “Kill Jay-Z.”And while the film remains exclusive to Channel 4, nothing stays that way for too long in the weird and wild web. Thanks to The Urban Aficionado, the full documentary has been liberated for all to see and feed conjecture over their newly-minted beef.
You can watch Public Enemies documentary in its entirety down below. Jay-Z’s 4:44 is available on TIDAL (of course) and iTunes. Meanwhile, the Def Jam soap opera just gets more dramatic by the day, as the rumor mill suggests Kanye has returned from his mountainside lair with some clap-back material. So yeah, this is far from the end of it.
