In a recent transmission from her living room couch, the Dreamville singer delivered a flawless take of Erykah Badu's in what may be the first installment of a smash series. Commencing the clip with the confession, "I been drinking wine," Lennox pulls up an instrumental version of the Baduizm ballad and unleashes a stunning, bordering on effortless, rendition of the 1997 classic. The clip trails a breakout year for Lennox, releasing her debut studio album, Shea Butter Baby, in May of 2019, and appearing prominently across the Dreamville compilation, Return of The Dreamers III. And last month, Lennox entered the decade with the release of the double-sided single, "BUSSIT"/"Still Up."
