Anderson .Paak and Kaytranada crossed paths in a riotous live stream last night.
Beaming in from their respective corners of the internet, the longtime collaborators met in an Instagram Live session hosted by .Paak. After an hour of running from the comforts of his kitchen (and with the assistance of costumed family members,) the Oxnard musician called in his longtime collaborator to preview (and collectively geek over) a pair of unreleased cuts, the first of which features an appearance from Busta Rhymes.
Though it’s been a minute since they appeared on each other’s work, .Paak and Kaytra previously connected on standout tracks from their respective 2016 breakout albums, Malibu and 99.9%. In 2017, an untitled collaboration leaked, but it’s yet to land on a project from either musician. So we’ll have to wait and see what comes of these.
Watch Anderson .Paak and Kaytranada preview a pair of unreleased collaborations in the clip below.
