Does this mean Panorama will serve as A Tribe Called Quest's last New York City show?

Last weekend A Tribe Called Quest served as one of the headliners for the three-day FYF Music Festival in Los Angeles. During the group's performance on Saturday Q-Tip took the time to address the crowd, telling them that this would be the last time A Tribe Called Quest performed in Los Angeles.

"This is our final performance here in L.A. as Tribe obviously because Phife Dawg, our anchor, has been called to another mission," Q-Tip said, referring to Malik Izaak Taylor, better known as ATCQ's Phife Dawg, who passed away on March 22, 2016. Taylor died at the age of 45 due to complications brought on by diabetes.

"We had to come to L.A. and do one proper [show] for ya'll," Q-Tip continued. "We appreciate ya'll being good sports. Being here with ya'll is cathartic. Thank you."

This weekend the group will serve as a headliner at this year's Panorama Music Festival. Following that, it is unknown if the group will have any other performances this year.

A month ago, OutKast's Big Boi revealed that the Atlanta rap duo and ATCQ were working on a collaborative album.

"We were talking about doing a Tribe Called Kast album, with Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest. It was real. Not [just] a conversation," Big Boi said. "Q-Tip flew to Atlanta, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, we all met at Dre's house…We got to the point of picking out beats for the album. Then, some kind of way, everybody started doing [their own] stuff, and then Phife [died]. [But] it definitely was happening."
