“I wanna go at it with the spitters.”
The Canadian rapper took to Instagram Live earlier this week to propose the battle.
I wanna go at it with the spitters. With the niggas who really be doing it.
Last week, Lanez and Massachusetts rapper exchanged a light war of words that resulted in a rap battle and the release of two diss tracks: Lanez’s “Lucky You” freestyle” and Lucas’ “Litty” freestyle.
Pusha T’s name came into the picture once DJ Akademiks proffered commentary on the battle. Lanez’s responded in his video, saying,
Akademiks wanna put on the ‘gram today, ‘Pusha T, we need somebody to humble him down.’ None of these niggas humbling me down, because at the end of the day, I’m not even cocky. Ain’t no nigga fucking with me, period—and that’s how I’m supposed to feel… And if Pusha T don’t want it and he can’t respond, then ya just need to give me that spot in wherever you solidify him in hip-hop.
Hopefully, Pusha responds, being that Tory Lanez is a formidable rapper. It wouldn’t hurt to close out 2018 with some bars on both ends.
