The Atlanta MC discussed his podcast, Kanye West, and reactions to his Top 50 Rappers list on The Breakfast Club.

Earlier in the month, T.I. released his Top 50 rappers list, ranking himself at #11. In an interview on The Breakfast Club, he explained the logic behind his rankings.

Additionally, he shared the reactions he got from two notable rappers. First, Tip says he got a call from Killer Mike. According to his fellow Atlanta MC, fans wanted Mike to be offended by his #50 ranking. Killer Mike replied with a rhetorical question: "what does it mean to be last place in first class?"

On an unrelated call, Tip said JAY-Z also commented on the list, which lists Tupac ahead of Jay at the top spot. "We were talking about something completely unrelated," he said. "And then he said 'oh, by the way...you really believe that?"

Later in the interview, Tip commented on the fallout between him and former signee Iggy Azalea. Iggy recently fired back at Tip, after saying her signing was a "blunder" in a recent interview. "I don't wish no ill will on her," he explained, "but I feel like when she found out white people liked her, that she didn't really need Black people to like her anymore, she switched up. She made music that I wasn't proud of...she was very arrogant about it. And I feel like that energy led to [the fallout]."
