Tekashi 6ix9ine to Be Re-Sentenced In 2015 Child Sex Crime Case

6ix9ine may serve time for posting a video of a 13-year-old girl engaging in a sex act in 2015.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is currently behind bars awaiting trial after he pleaded not guilty to federal racketeering and firearm charges. He could be facing a life sentence for two of those charges, and could be expected to receive even more prison time.

According to a report in PageSix, prosecutors met with 6ix9ine’s legal team and decided that he will be sentenced again. The 22-year-old Brooklyn rapper is expected to be re-sentenced for posting a video of a 13-year-old girl engaging in a sex act in 2015.

The case was initially closed in October when Tekashi was sentenced to four years probation and 1,000 hours of community service. Prosecutors reportedly fought for the rapper to be sentenced to four years in jail, and now charge that because being imprisoned for his ongoing racketeering case makes him unable to be on probation, he will now likely have more prison time served instead.

6ix9ine’s trial is scheduled for September 4, 2019.
